Autonomy

Created for the Augmenting Reality class at UCLA, “Autonomy” was conceived as a visual translation to accompany a musical score. Using 3D tracking software, the aim of the assignment was to insert an unlikely object into the real world scene space with the goal of being able to interact with the entity. However, in “Autonomy,” I chose to have the entity interact with me to tell a story from the object’s perspective. The scenes were tracked with Boujou, rendered in Maya, and edited in AfterEffects and Premiere Pro.
