Lead multi-disciplinary teams during programming, design, and construction. Projects varied across a multitude of commercial fields including hospitality, retail, dining, and attractions, as well as warehouse and administrative. Managed client needs, design reviews, permit documents, stakeholder and consultant coordination, construction administration, and project turnover.

Designed and produced permit sets for the new construction of high-end, custom residences. Managed client presentations, consultant coordination, and both HOA and city permit processes.

Coordinated with architectural, engineering, ride, and show-set designers to complete new and existing experiences and attractions at Disney theme parks, from initial planning to final construction. Produced construction drawings, diagrams, and renderings. Assisted with submittals, RFI’s, and bidding.

Responsible for collaborating with several departments to compile a document for internal review of mock-up and sample fabrications for proposed attractions at Disney World. Also assisted with small scale physical modelling of interior props for design considerations.

Collaborated with a team of students to design and construct a headstone restoration facility on the historical site of Columbia Cemetery in Boulder, CO. Tasks included design development, project presentation, budget management, prefabrication, construction documents, and construction management.

RECOGNITION

2014 Disney ImagiNations Finalist
ImagiNations is a national competition created and sponsored by Walt Disney Imagineering with the purpose of seeking out and nurturing the next generation of diverse Imagineers. Six finalists out of over one-hundred teams were selected to visit WDI in Glendale, CA and compete. With a group of three other students, our team received 3rd place in the competition.

Designs Featured in UCLA Currents
At the end of each quarter, the Architecture and Urban Design department at UCLA selects one student's work from each studio to be featured in the quarter-long exhibition known as "Currents," within the AUD building. My studio design projects, as well as designs from my elective courses, have been highlighted in the exhibit on multiple occasions for the Fall 2012, Winter 2013, and Spring 2013 showcases.

CU Boulder Architecture and Planning Valedictorian
During the fall of 2011, I graduated with distinction as the College of Architecture and Planning Valedictorian at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Awarded to a single student with the highest GPA in the College of Architecture and Planning.

Landmarks Board Award
For my team’s work in the Columbia Cemetery Design Build, the Boulder Landmarks Board recognized our design and construction as an excellent example of sensitive construction in a historic context.

Design featured in "Modern in Denver"
Upon completion, the Columbia Cemetery Design Build was featured in a prominent architectural magazine, “Modern in Denver,” with an eight-page spread highlighting our team’s concepts from inception to construction.

National and Community Service Award
Received for completing 300 hours of community service in the areas of construction and design with Habitat for Humanity and other non-profit organizations.

Bixler Memorial Scholarship
The Bixler Memorial scholarship is awarded to a single student within the University of Colorado at Boulder once every two years. The award is entirely merit-based to recognize outstanding achievement within the College of Architecture and Planning. Awarded based on exemplary undergraduate studio projects.

National and Community Service Award

Selected by a panel of architects and designers in Boulder, CO as the 2010 AIAS portfolio of the year out of hundreds of students.

CU Boulder Deans List Scholarship
The Deans List Scholarship is awarded to students whose professors acknowledge their achievement in classes while maintaining a GPA above 3.75.

Dye Paintball Design Finalist
Selected as one of five finalists from hundreds of international competitors for the design of a new graphic anodizing process for a new product from Dye Paintball.
